On Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan on February 10, Karan asked Kartik who among Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor had a brighter future.

Kartik answered, "It's obvious." KJo prodded him further and Kartik said, "Sara."

While Sara has already made quite a striking debut in Bollywood with Kedarnath and Simmba, Janhvi Kapoor was seen on the big screen in Dhadak last year.

Over the past few months since Sara Ali Khan's Bollywood debut Kedarnath and her second film Simmba, comparisons between the pataudi kid and Janhvi have been raging on social media.

On the chat show, Kartik also opened up on his equation with Sara and why he hasn't asked her out on a coffee date yet. "I am trying to earn more and more money right now. Saif sir said, 'Does he have money?' She is a princess. So, you know to ask her out on a date, I would require a certain bank balance."

Sara had made an appearance with dad Saif Ali Khan on Karan's chat show. And when she admitted to having a crush on Kartik, Saif had inquired about Kartik's bank balance.

He added, "The moment my bank balance is there, I will ask her out."

On the work front, Kartik is awaiting the release of Luka Chuppi with Kriti. Sara, on the other hand, is yet to sign a film post the super success of Simmba. Janhvi Kapoor, meanwhile, is busy with the biopic of Gunjan Saxena, the first IAF pilot to fly into combat zone.
