She was admitted to Brijesh Hospital Kashipur in Udham Singh Nagar on Thursday night after she experienced acute stomach pain. However, she was discharged a few hours later, on Friday afternoon.

Dr Mayank Aggarwal, who treated her, told a leading publication, "Sunny had mild fever and intense pain in the stomach when she was brought in. The pain subsided after medication, and we discharged her on Friday afternoon as she was feeling better."

Sunny's spokesperson confirmed the news and said that she was back at the resort. She has been advised bed rest for a while, and is expected to resume shooting for the reality show shortly.

While Sunny will be playing herself in the biopic, her husband, Daniel Weber, will be played by a South African actor. Young Sunny will be played by Rysa Saujani.
