Back in the early 90s, rumours of Sanjay and Madhuri's affair kept the grapevine abuzz. However, the romance came to a grinding halt when Sanjay was arrested under TADA and the Arms Act for his involvement in 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.

Now that the two are coming together for Kalank, it has set tongues wagging. This will be their first film after Mahaanta (1997), and fans are hoping to see the two recreate their 90s magic.

However, there might be some major heartbreak coming their way. If a tweet by KRK Box Office is to be believed, Sanjay has signed the film only on the condition that he will not have any scenes with Madhuri.

Incidentally, when a reporter asked Sanjay about reuniting with Madhuri on the sidelines of a celebrity cricket tournament earlier this month, he stormed out of the venue without answering the question. The video of the same went viral on social media.

Kalank, directed by Abhishek Varman, also features Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. The partition drama will hit the screens on April 19, 2019.
