Dhanush-Sai Pallavi's Rowdy Baby becomes first South Indian song to cross 600 million views on YouTube

From the day of its release on YouTube, Rowdy Baby, the song from Dhanush-Sai Pallavi's film Maari 2, has been setting records in terms of views and likes. The catchy tune composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the jaw-dropping dance movements have made the song an Earth-shattering hit, which has now crossed 600 million views on YouTube.

The song is popular not just in Tamil Nadu, but it is being enjoyed by fans from across the country. It has also caught the attention of many foreigners and the videos of them reacting to the song are also highly popular on YouTube.

It is said that Rowdy Baby is the first South Indian song to cross 600 million views.

Crooned by Dhanush and Dhee, the song was choreographed by Prabhudheva.

Wunderbar Films, which produced Maari 2, took to Twitter to share the new achievement of the song.

Directed by Balaji Mohan, Maari 2 is a sequel to the 2016 hit film Maari. The second part was released on December 21, 2018 and opened to mixed reviews from critics.

Dhanush recently announced that his next film Asuran, directed by Vetrimaaran, will release on October 4. The film has Dhanush playing two roles. The actor will next team up with Karthik Subbaraj for an untitled project.
