Things have been not going well for comedy king Kapil Sharma ever since his former team member and comedian Sunil Grover quit the show after their infamous mid-air feud. The show's ratings have dipped drastically. In fact, the show's low TRPs have prompted rumours about TKSS going off air.

However, the show will not be taken off-air contrary to reports, as both Kiku Sharda and Sumona Chakravarti had recently given statements about the same.

But there is a revamp that is going to take place in some time, as Kapil, who has been simultaneously shooting for TKSS and his upcoming movie Firangi, has not exactly been keeping well. Both the show and Kapil are said to take a break from television for a while, according to a report in DNA.

"The current format has run its course. Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar's departure and Bharti Singh and Chandan Prabhakar's entry are not the issue. We've realised that the entire show needs a revamp," DNA quoted a source as saying.
