La La Land star Emma Stone led the charge in an intricate silver Chanel midi dress with a lace overlay and plunging neckline as she arrived at the Royal Albert Hall.

However, the 28-year-old did have a clever trick up her sleeve to protect her from the cold - her Chanel gown came with matching cropped trousers.

Lion star Nicole Kidman turned heads in her Armani Prive halter neck gown that was slashed to the navel and also backless.

The 40-year-old arrived in a velvet jacket but took it off to pose for photographs and greet fans.

Nicole revealed that her daughters were not a fan of the low-cut nature of the dress, explaining: "If they'd had their say I wouldn't have been allowed out in it because it's low cut!"
