Unseasonal rains and hail are expected across the country over the next few days due to western disturbances. Notably, in the past few days too, light or moderate rainfall and thundershowers were observed over most parts of India.The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has advised farmers in Punjab, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh to postpone harvesting of wheat and other rabi crops.
