Lenovo Vibe B with quad-core processor, Android Marshmallow launched at Rs 5,799

Lenovo is looking to launch a new entry-level phone, aka the Vibe B, in India. According to Mumbai-based seller Mahesh Telecom - via Facebook - the Vibe B will be available for buying for Rs 5,799. The phone, according to the post, boasts of an all-plastic body and some entry-level specs.

The Vibe B is said to sport a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and a quad-core MediaTek MT6735M processor with 1GB of RAM under the hood. The phone comes with 8GB of internal memory which is expandable by up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front shooter. It further runs Android Marshmallow software and is backed by a 2,000mAh battery.

Lenovo is yet to officially announce the phone, but, by the looks of it the company may do the same soon enough.

In other news, Lenovo is all set to launch the Moto G5 Plus in India on March 15. The Moto G5 Plus will be a Flipkart-exclusive in the country and ideally should cost at under Rs 20,000.

The Moto G5 Plus along with the Moto G5 was first announced at MWC 2017 in Barcelona. The Moto G5 Plus has a 5.2-inch display with a 1080p resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clubbed with 2/4 GB of RAM and 16/64 GB of internal memory which is again expandable.

The Moto G5 Plus sports a 12-megapixel camera on the rear with dual autofocus and f/1.7 aperture. It runs an almost unmodified version of Android Nougat with Google's AI assistant inside and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
