New Delhi: Reliance Jio on Tuesday unveiled a new tariff plan ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan’ after the latest entrant into India’s telecom space was told by the Telecom Regulatory Authority (Trai) to withdraw its Summer Surprise offer.

The details available on Reliance Jio’s website suggest that the company will offer its Prime subscribers three months of free services for a minimum recharge of Rs309.

Under the plan, the Jio Prime subscribers will get 1 GB data for 84 days on a first recharge of Rs309. The volume of data will be doubled to 2GB on a recharge of Rs 509 for the same period. Both plans come bundled with free text messages/SMSes and subscription to Jio apps.

New customers and non-Prime subscribers will have to pay Rs 408 and Rs 608 for the 1GB and 2GB daily plan respectively.

The plan comes into effect from 15 April and can be done immediately, according to the details available on the Reliance Jio website.

The deadline for Jio Prime membership, which is so far available for a one-time payment of Rs99, will come to end on 15 April.
