The election wave on social media

Nielsen, a global provider of information and insights into what consumers watch and buy, on Wednesday released data which tracks voter sentiment on social media websites in a study titled “Social Media Analysis on the Elections and Voting”.

The study summarizes the analysis of conversations, buzz and interactions across key social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, among others, with special focus on the voting days, and the interactions of political parties across these platforms through December till May.
