With the launch of Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, the smartphone maker has slashed the price of its S5 model. Galaxy S5, which was originally launched at Rs 51,500, is now available on the Samsung store at Rs 34,900*.

Samsung slashed the price of its 2013 flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4 in India last month. The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be officially available via dealers at Rs. 17,999, compared to the previous price of Rs. 21,900 - a price cut of Rs. 3,900.

3) Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) and Moto G (Gen 2)

Along with exchange offers launched for second generation Moto G and Moto X in January this year, Motorola also announced price cuts for both its models.

The Rs. 12,999 (16GB) price tag on the Moto G (Gen 2) gets reduced to Rs. 8,999. The Moto X (Gen 2), on the other hand, will be available at Rs. 23,999 (16GB) and Rs. 26,999 (32GB) down from Rs. 29,999 (16GB) and Rs. 32,999 (32GB) respectively.

6) Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

E-commerce sites like Flipkart and Amazon are offering a discount ranging from Rs 3000 to Rs 5000 on Apple's new models - iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, that were launched in October last year

Apple launched the 16GB, 64GB and 128GB iPhone 6 units in India for Rs 53,500, Rs 62,500 and Rs 71,500, respectively. The iPhone 6 Plus 16GB, 64GB and 128GB were unveiled at Rs 62,500, Rs 71,500, Rs 80,500 respectively.

You can now buy the 16GB iPhone 6 (gold) for Rs 48,385 on Flipkart and Rs 50,285 on Amazon. The 64GB iPhone 6 is selling for Rs 57,434. 

Meanwhile, the 16GB iPhone 6 Plus is now available for Rs 56,999 on Amazon and Rs 57,608 on Flipkart. The 64GB and 128GB models of the iPhone 6 can be bought at Rs 65,999 and Rs 73,999, respectively on Amazon.
