The buzz around Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming film 'Azhar', a biopic on former Indian cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin, is getting stronger and the makers have released a new song to sustain the momentum.

A reprised version of ‘90s hit song ‘Oye, Oye’ from 'Vishawtma' has hit YouTube which features all three of 'Azhar’s' lead actors - Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai and Nargis Fakhri.

It shows Nargis Fakhri performing on stage, while Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai sitting in the audience.

In real life, Mohammed Azharuddin married film actor Sangeeta Bijlani (played by Nargis) after divorcing his first wife Naureen (played by Prachi).

Azharuddin led the Indian cricket team for most of the 1990s. He was implicated in a match-fixing scandal in 2000, and banned for life. But later in 2012, the Andhra Pradesh High Court lifted the ban.

Directed by Tony D’Souza, 'Azhar' is all set to hit the screens on May 13, 2016.
