Aishwarya Rai

A refreshing change in Bollywood when it comes to actors is that we have come to wholeheartedly accept each of them for their talent and judge them basis nothing else. Many stars have come out and slammed trolls for trying to pull them by saying brutal things about them being too fat, too tall, too short, too skinny or too dark. Recently, Fardeen Khan who gained several kilos in weight since he went missing from the big screen, said that the trolls don’t bother him. In the past, we have had stars like Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, and Huma Qureshi speak out against body shaming and we are glad that this issue became its own movement over time. Check out what each of these stars had to say on the issue and how they came over it themselves.

Aishwarya Rai’s post-pregnancy weight irked trolls to say some very mean thing about her. While Aishwarya never came out and defended herself, her husband, Abhishek Bachchan decided enough is enough. He said, “Yes, she’s a public figure, but people forget she’s also a woman and now a mother and there’s a line that’s not to be crossed. I don’t talk that way about any woman ever and it’s obviously not graceful for anyone to talk about her like that either.”
