She is one of the leading ladies in Salman Khan's much-anticipated film Race 3. If her business dialogue has gone viral, the 33-year-old actress's dance moves has got her a major fan following. But not many know that Daisy Shah was also a part of the 2008 film Race.

Daisy, who began her career in Bollywood as a background dancer in choreographer Ganesh Acharya's team, recently revealed that she was in Abbas-Mustan's film.

And now a decade and another installment later, she is one of the leading ladies in Race 3. Daisy, who will be sharing screen space with Anil Kapoor and Salman, calls it a surreal experience.

"When I look at the film's poster, I feel so surreal thinking about my journey. I was one of the assistant dancers of Race 10 years ago, and now I am one of the lead actors of Race 3, where I have got a chance to share screen space with some of the legends of our country like Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan. I am overwhelmed," she told IANS.

Before Race, Daisy worked in Salman Khan's 2003 film Tere Naam as a dancer before making her big screen debut with the 2014 film Jai Ho.

"I started from zero, really. It is about meeting the right people at the right time that makes you go where you do. And I know that in our industry, everyone works hard but not everyone gets recognition. Perhaps that is why I am quite compassionate towards people on a film set, including technicians...because I know I was one of them a while ago," she added.

Race 3, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol and Saqib Saleem, will hit the screens on June 15.
