
IAF air crash: BS Yediyurappa attends last rites of Wing Commander Hanumanth Rao
The last rites of IAF Pilot Wing Commander Hanumanth Rao Sarathi were carried out in Karnataka’s Belagavi on Jan 29 evening with a large number of people paying their last respects. Former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa attended his last rites at his residence and paid tributea. Hanumanth Rao Sarathi was an ace Mirage 2000 fighter aircraft pilot & instructor at the IAF Tactics & Air Combat Development Establishment (TACDE) in Gwalior. He lost his life in a fighter jet accident in Madhya Pradesh’s Morena on January 28.
