India A's second-highest List A record lasts just three hours as England shatter records at breakneck speed

Scorecard: England vs Australia, 3rd ODI

444 - The previous highest total in men's ODIs. England bettered their previous best that they set in 2016 against Pakistan at Trent Bridge. England now have the second-highest in List A score, going past the 458 India A made just a few hours prior in Leicester. England narrowly fell short of the all-time highest (by Surrey) of 496 for 4 achieved against Gloucestershire at Oval in 2007.

21 - Balls taken by Eoin Morgan to reach his half-century. This is the fastest by an England batsman, going past the previous-best (22-ball fifty against Pakistan at Trent Bridge) by Jos Buttler.

5443 - ODI runs by Morgan for England, a record. He surpasses Ian Bell, who made 5416 runs. Morgan reached the landmark in 167 innings while Bell Scored those runs in 157 innings.

9.62 - England's scoring rate, the sixth highest in an ODI innings of any length. New Zealand managed to sustain their rate the longest when they walloped 283 in 21 overs against West Indies in Queenstown in 2014.

21 - Sixes hit by England, bettering their previous record of 16 that they hit against Pakistan at Trent Bridge in 2016. The most Australia have conceded previously was 19 sixes in Bengaluru in 2013.

4 - Centuries for Jonny Bairstow in his last six innings. Since he started opening, Bairstow averages 65.76 - the highest for any opener who has played at least 20 innings. As an opener, Bairstow strikes at 114.19, has six hundreds and one half-century.

2 - Instances of England notching up two 150 plus stands in an innings. The last time they achieved this was against Pakistan at the same venue in 2016.

62 - Boundaries in England's innings, the highest by a team in ODIs. England beat their own record (59) - jointly held along with Sri Lanka - which they achieved against Pakistan at the same venue in 2016. Sri Lanka achieved their record against Netherlands in an ODI in 2006. England hit 21 sixes and 41 fours in this innings.

242 - Runs by which Australia lost to England, the worst defeat in ODIs for Australia. Their previous worst defeat came against New Zealand at Adelaide in 1986. Incidentally, this is England biggest win in ODIs going past the 210 run win against New Zealand at Birmingham in 2015. This is now Australia's fourth consecutive bilateral series loss. The last time they lost four in a row was way back in 1984.
