Anne Frank was a German-Jewish girl who died at the age of 15 at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in March 1945. She became famous around the world when her diary, which chronicles her life in hiding during the Nazi occupation of the Europe, was published. With March 12 marking the 72nd anniversary of the remarkable diarist's death, we take a look at her life through pictures.
