
Millets can be grown in adverse climatic conditions; can help the world in food security: PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that India is leading the mission as the world celebrates International Millet Year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Global Millets Conference. The Prime Minister said on Saturday that 'Shree Anna' is a gift for the world struggling with Global Food security. He further added that millets has high fibre, and is considered to be very beneficial for body and health. "Including Shree Anna in midday meals can blend health and taste into our children's diet," Modi said.
