Morbi collapse: Main accused surrenders before court

Three months after the Morbi suspension bridge in Gujarat collapsed, the Managing Director of the Oreva group, Jaysukh Patel surrendered before the court. 135 had people died in the accident and several were injured. There was anger against the government for not going behind the big guns responsible for the incident. So far, nine other accused are in custody, including Prakash Parmar and Devang Parmar, who are proprietors of Devprakash Solutions, the firm which carried out the repair work.
