NDRF team deployed in 6 districts of TN ahead of heavy rain alert
NDRF team has been deployed in 6 districts of Tamil Nadu ahead of the heavy rain alert in the state. The teams of the NDRF will be deployed in Nagapattinam, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Cuddalore, Mayiladuthurai, and Chennai. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy rains are predicted to lash Tamil Nadu from December 7-9 due to low pressure over the southern part of the Andaman Sea.
