Voting in 69 constituencies of Uttarakhand

Polling began in the hill state of Uttarakhand today morning wherein 74 lakh voters will decide the fate of 628 candidates. Sixty nine of 70 Assembly constituencies spread over 13 districts are going to polls today.The Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are locked in a straight context in most of the seats. While the Congress is hoping that Harish Rawat will continue to be the chief minister of the state, the Saffron Party is going all out for a comeback."Uttarakhand has a one-sided voting for BJP. I am sure the state will vote for the Saffron Party," said Lok Sabha MP Ramesh Pokhriyal.
