India captain Virat Kohli has returned "to the grind" after a week-long holiday in New York.

Kohli took to Twitter to post a picture of himself and captioned it "Back to the grind again."

Kohli's Team India will soon be going to Sri Lanka for a bilateral series from July 26 to September 6, which will include three Test matches, five ODIs and a lone T20.

After the much dramatic saga between Kohli and Anil Kumble, the Indian cricket team has got its new head coach in Ravi Shastri while there's still some suspense about the others in the coaching staff.

While BCCI earlier announced Zaheer Khan as bowling consultant and Rahul Dravid as batting consultant for overseas tours, it was later announced that the two were recommendations of the CAC and their appointments are not concrete yet.

After the Sri Lanka series, India have a gruelling home and away season to play in. After a full-fledged Sri Lanka tour, India will host Australia in a limited-overs series in October.

India are also scheduled to play Pakistan at home in a full-fledged series involving three Tests, five ODIs and two T20Is. But the series will only be played if the government gives its clearance.

India are then scheduled to travel to South Africa in January for four Tests, five ODIs and a couple of T20s before Sri Lanka come to India for three Tests, five ODIs and one T20.

After the Indian Premier League's 11th season, India will play Asia Cup with the host nation yet to be announced and then fly to England for five Tests as many ODIs and a T20 in July-August next year.

Kohli was on a much-deserved break in the United States of America along with his lady love and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.
