Referee asked Ronaldo for his shirt?

Portugal beat Morocco 1-0 yesterday. After falling behind early, Morocco dominated most of the game but just couldn’t find the back of the net despite numerous chances. Deadspin reports that Morocco’s frustration followed midfielder Nordin Amrabat after the game, when he accused a referee of favoring Portugal. Amrabat said he felt that referee Mark Geiger was “very impressed by Cristiano Ronaldo” and claimed that a player for Portugal, Pepe, had told him that Geiger asked for Ronaldo’s shirt. Amrabat added “What are we talking about? At the World Cup? It’s not a circus here,” Amrabat added. Fifa released a statement this morning denying the accusations.
