Philippe Coutinho achieved a personal milestone during Liverpool’s 4-0 win over West Ham in the Premier League at the London Stadium.

Tevez a colossal waste of money

The Brazilian, who joined Liverpool from Inter in January 2013, was involved in three goals in a single game for the club for the first time since his arrival at Anfield.

Coutinho created the opening goal of the match on 35 minutes when he played a superb pass from inside his own half to set Daniel Sturridge away to score.

He then increased Liverpool’s lead on 57 minutes with a low shot from just outside the area before scoring again four minutes later when he emphatically finished off a counterattack.

There was also something notable about Coutinho’s first goal of the game as it was the 14th he has scored from outside the penalty area since his Liverpool debut.

And Coutinho clearly enjoys his trips to the capital as the two previous occasions he has scored twice in a Premier League game have come while he has been in London.

His influence, both at West Ham and over the course of the season, has been integral in Liverpool’s quest to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
