Though his highlight reel is filled with dozens, perhaps hundreds, of glorious goals, the 400th came somewhat simply.

After James' Rodriguez's left-footed effort was deflected away by Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico, but the rebound fell right to Ronaldo who finished with ease and went off to celebrate his fourth century of goals with Los Blancos with his teammates.

The goal also takes the Portuguese superstar to 365 goals in European league play, tying him for second all-time with German legend Gerd Muller.

Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in 2009 after playing for Manchester United and his childhood club Sporting.
