Weah joined the Ligue 1 heavyweights in July 2014, and caught the eye in the Uefa Youth League last season with a series of outstanding performances, memorably scoring a hat-trick in a 8-1 victory over Bulgarians Ludogorets Razgrad in Sofia in September 2016.

“I am very proud to continue the adventure at Paris Saint-Germain in signing this professional contract,” Weah told psg.fr. “I’m at a big club and I can’t wait to continue to progress in order to one day compete for the first time.”

The teenage frontman’s new deal will keep him at the French capital until June 30 2020.

Weah was born in New York and previously represented the New York Red Bulls Academy before moving to the French capital.

Father George is one of Africa's greatest players of all time, and is the only player from the continent to have won the Ballon d'Or, an award he claimed in 1995. He was also named African Footballer of the Year on three occasions and was the top scorer in the 1994-95 Champions League while on the books of PSG.

In total, Weah spent three seasons in Paris-scoring 32 in 96 league outings-before moving to AC Milan, where he enjoyed arguably his finest successes.
