I-League 2017: Minerva Punjab vs Aizawl FC Preview - League leaders looking to make it five wins in a row logo 10-03-2017

Minerva Punjab FC welcome league leaders Aizawl FC at Ludhiana for a Round 14 clash in the I-League on Saturday. The home side have been in indifferent form off late losing both their matches at home last time around. In fact their home form is nothing to write home about, winning one, drawing two and losing three of their six matches at home. Although Aizawl's away form hasn't matched up to their home heroics, the league leaders are on the right path after scoring late to win against DSK Shivajians. The two teams had last met in Mizoram where Khalid Jamil's men were victorious courtesy an own goal from Minerva defender Loveday in the dying minutes of the match. Hazard needs bigger home for trophies Interestingly Minerva which went down against Shillong Lajong need to sort out their goalscoring issues with Loveday still the highest scorer for the side. Victor Amobi needs to step up and convert the chances to give Surinder Singh's side a chance of winning the tie. Khalid Jamil meanwhile will look to name an unchanged side from their last encounter with Stephen Kamo being ably supported by the wily Jayesh Rane. Mahmud Al-Amenah would play the box to box role with gusto while Alfred Jaryan will sit back and mop up. With Mohun Bagan and East Bengal both dropping points last week, Aizawl need a win to be unassailable at the top for yet another week in running. KICKOFF is at 4.35 PM IST. PREDICTED LINE-UPS
