Beleaguered Mumbai FC welcome third placed Kolkata outfit East Bengal in the final tie of the season, at Cooperage. The hosts head into yet another home fixture following a disappointing 1-1 draw against Thangboi Singto's Shillong Lajong side. As for the visiting team, East Bengal fly to metropolis city after a comfortable 3-1 victory over new entrant Minerva Punjab.

The Mumbaikars have already been relegated from the league and have also failed to qualify for the Federation Cup scheduled to begin in the month of May. With nothing at stake, Oscar Bruzon and company will hope to put up a good show in their final I-League fixture for the foreseeable future.

The gaffer could throw in a young side and also introduce local players in the starting XI. Victorino Fernandes will lead the attack once again following his impressive form last week which included a goal in the second minute, against The Reds. One could again witness an all Indian side as Densill Theobald has failed to create impact and defender Djelaludin Sharityar is recovering from an injury. Bruzon has stated to put up a similar team as the one in their last tie on home soil. Also, free entry will be provided to all viewers on Saturday evening.

As for the Reds and Golds, they will look to continue their winning performance, especially after having undergone a streak of three losses before the win against the Ludhiana based side. Willis Plaza will return to the squad after having served the suspension. Robin Singh is likely to start on the bench whereas Australian striker Chris Payne will not feature in the clash at Cooperage as the 26-year-old has not travelled to Mumbai. Arnab Mondal and Ivan Bukenya would be at the heart of the defense whereas Rowllin Borges and Mehtab Hossain will operate as central defensive midfielders.

The visitors will come into the fixture considering the tie as a preparatory game for the Federation Cup, as commented by assistant coach Ranjan Chaudhuri. As for the home team, they will play to avoid ending the season on the tenth position in the table rankings.

Kick-off is at Cooperage Football Ground on 29th April, Saturday at 19:05 IST.
