Star defender Anas Edathodika and midfielder Eugeneson Lyngdoh will be the most expensive players available in the Indian Super League draft, Goal can confirm.

Anas was not retained by Delhi Dynamos, who went into the draft without retaining any players, quite surprisingly while Eugeneson Lyngdoh was not picked up by Bengaluru FC and FC Pune City.

While FC Pune City had negotiated with Eugeneson Lyngdoh, both parties could not agree on the wage while Delhi Dynamos considered Anas' wage demands as unreasonable and opted not to negotiate with the Kerala-born player.

The I-League defender of the year's contract has been valued at around ₹1.1 crores per year while Lyngdoh's contract will also be worth a similar amount.

Notably, goalkeeper Subrata Paul, full-back Pritam Kotal and strikers Robin Singh and Balwant Singh are also included in the ten most expensive players who can be picked up from the ISL draft, which will be held on Sunday, 23rd July.

A total of 199 players have signed up for the draft, with teams expected to include at least 15 Indian players (retained + picked from draft) in the squad for the upcoming season.

Here are the top 10 players and their contract values (age in brackets):

1) Eugeneson Lyngdoh (30) - ₹1.1 crore
