Team India registered a thumping win over the West Indies on Sunday handing Virat Kohli his first Test win outside the subcontinent as captain of the side.

In the process, India also took a 1-0 lead in the four match series in the Caribbean.

Kohli starred with the bat for his side scoring his maiden double century in Test cricket, while Ravichandran Ashwin grabbed seven wickets in Windies' second innings to hand India its biggest win outside the subcontinent.

India have registered some memorable victories abroad under several legendary captains like Sunil Gavaskar, MAK Pataudi, Kapil Dev, Sourav Ganguly, MS Dhoni and now, Virat Kohli.
