Dato Seri Haji Afandi Hamzah led the KAFA delegation in a meeting held in FMLLP headquarters in Petaling Jaya to go over the punishment meted out to KAFA.

A six points deduction and transfer ban were slapped on KAFA after their failure to complete the procedures required for registration for the 2017 season.

Angry response from the KAFA side were provided in the form of Tan Sri Annuar Musa (TSAM) whose social media post has caught the attention of many.

In recent weeks, Kelantan has also been punished by Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) and are due payments to Velizar Popov, Khairul Izuan and Faizal Bakar.

FMLLP led by Kevin Ramalingam, their Chief Executive Officer (CEO) spent hours explaining to the KAFA delegation on what is required to complete the registration process.

KAFA has agreed to conform to the regulations, with the deadline given until 11 June 2017 to complete the registration. Should KAFA comply with that, they would be allowed to register new players in this mid-season transfer window.

Kelantan will be desperate to solve this long-running issue as they want to sign L’Imam Seydi to replace misfiring Alessandro Celin to get their 2017 campaign back on the track in the Super League as well as to compete in the Malaysia Cup.
