Leicester City 3-1 Hull City: Mahrez on target in Foxes comeback logo 04-03-2017

Leicester City carried on their good run of form since firing Claudio Ranieri when they beat Hull City 3-1 to boost their hopes of survival.

Off the back of their recent win over Liverpool, Leicester did not start too well as it was the Tigers who went 1-0 up just 14 minutes in when Kamil Grosicki charged forward and cut back for Sam Clucas to send into the net.

Leicester fought back later on in the half though through Christian Fuchs, who ended a move he started when he smashed Jamie Vardy's pass beyond Eldin Jakupovic.

Riyad Mahrez had the Foxes on top when he beat two defenders with a fine piece of skill and beat Jakupovic.

Hull's hopes of an equaliser were crushed in the 90th minute when Tom Huddlestone saw the ball bounce off of his head and go in.

Leicester remain 15th in the league but now sit five points above third-bottom Middlesbrough, who lost to Stoke City.
