The Chilean-born forward made the announcement on his Instagram account;

"From now on I am no longer a player of PKNS FC. These were two wonderful years where I had the chance of doing great things and even make history!

"I thank the club and all the people who were part of this opportunity. I wish you the best for all that is left of this championship," wrote the 25-year old player.

He had joined the Red Ants at the start of the 2016 season, when they were still in the Premier League. Throughout the season, he helped them make an appearance in the FA Cup final, losing 2-1 to JDT, win promotion from the second place in the standings, and reach the Malaysia Cup quarter-finals.

PKNS have been looking for his replacement, with the club itself having stated earlier this week that they are close to signing Central Coast Mariners attacker Fábio Ferreira, as well as South Korean left midfielder Park Kwang-il.

After having completed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Davis Dos Santos earlier this week, on Thursday Premier League outfit Terengganu announced the arrival of Ivorian attacker Tchétché Kipré. The 29-year old player previously played for Al Suwaiq in Oman.

Kipré has replaced the underperforming Argentinian forward Federico Falcone.
