He equalled Yusuf Pathan's 15-ball effort versus the Sunrisers Hyderabad back in 2014 in Kolkata.

This is also the fastest fifty in this year's IPL. Narine overtook his strike-partner Chris Lynn, who scored a 19-ball fifty during his unbeaten knock of 93 in KKR's first game of the season against the Gujarat Lions.

Gautam Gambhir dropped down the order allowing Narine to open the innings along with the returning Lynn and hit the ground running right from the word go. Lynn started hitting the bowlers all around the park and Narine soon followed suit. Once he started there was no stopping him as he dominated strike and the bowlers, especially Samuel Badree, whom he smashed for three back-to-back sixes, taking 25 runs off the over.
