183 against Pakistan:

India-Pakistan matches are always adrenaline pumping affairs and when Pakistan set India a challenging target of 330, Virat Kohli played a careful knock to score a century in 97 balls and then went on to take his team close to victory scoring 183 in 146 balls leaving India needing 12 runs of 17 balls. India eventually went on to win the game.

133* against Sri Lanka:

India had to chase the target of 321 set by Srilanka within 40 overs to earn the bonus point and qualify for the finals in the CB triseries. Kohli took up matters into his hands to score 133 of 86 guiding India to victory in 36.4 overs. This knock included 16 boundaries and two maximums.

136 against Bangladesh:

Chasing a target of 280 set by Bangladesh, Kohli notched up a careful 136 of 122 balls to secure a win with one over to spare proving that he is infact the king of chases.

118 against Australia:


Australia's Michael Clarke had played a captain's knock scoring 111 runs to guide his team to a total of 289. Chasing a target of 290 a young Virat Kohli partnered with Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina to battle the Australian bowling and notched up his second ODI century to help his team register a sweet victory against Australia.

138 against South Africa:

Kohli's 23rd century came against South Africa at an oppurtune time ending the Indian ODI vice-captain's run drought and setting up an Indian victory in a must win game levelling the series 2-2. Kohli scored 138 to guide India to 299 runs in this 50 over game. South Africa fell short of the target managing only 264 in their fifty overs.

100* against Australia:

This is a special knock for Kohli as he entered the record books with the fastest century by an Indian in ODIs scoring 100 runs off just 52 balls against Australia while chasing a mammoth 360 in the 2nd ODI match played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. India chased down the score with more than five overs to spare.

82 against Australia in T20:

Termed as his best Knock by Virat Kohli himself, this 82 in 51 balls was against Australia in the Super 10 stage of the world T20 championship in 2016. The game was crucial for India to move further in the competition and a Virat special came at an important time. Virat and Dhoni plundered 59 runs of the the last 25 balls to reach the target of 161 set by the Aussies with 5 balls to spare taking Team India into the semifinals.

115* against Australia:

© IANS Photo It was a run fest as Australia had set India a target of 350 with George Bailey scoring 156. However the Indian batting line up came up good on the day as the Openers scored 178 and Virat Kohli scored a whirlwind 115 of 66 balls to help India equalise the series.

107 against Pakistan:

These are the kind of matches that can make heroes and Kohli was definitely the hero of the day scoring a beautiful 107 of 126 balls helping India notch up a mighty 300 in 50 overs. Pakistan failed again in the big stage as they were all out for 224.

108 against RPS:


Kohli was in marauding form as he went on to score his second century of the IPL in the 2016 season to chase down a target of 192 set by Dhoni's Rising Pune Supergiants. Kolhi struck an unbeaten 108 in 58 balls to set up an amazing seven-wicket win.
