Streak: 35 consecutive World Cup match wins (1999-2011)
One of the most successful team in ODI history and winner of five World Cups, Australia remained undefeated for 35 matches in succession before their streak came to an end following a defeat against Pakistan in the 2011 edition.
In Test cricket, the Aussies also holds the record of winning 16 consecutive matches on two occasions – 1999-2001 and 2005-08.
