Former UP DGP's Vikram Singh on Sunday spoke to media on gangster Atiq Ahmed's transfer from Sabarmati central jail, production in court and the progress in the Umesh Pal murder case in terms of probe, interrogation. Uttar Pradesh Police on Sunday came to the Sabarmati central jail in Ahmedabad on Sunday and took Atiq, a gangster-turned-politician, to Prayagraj amid tight security. Atiq will be produced before a court on March 28 when it passes an order in a kidnapping case in which he is an accused.
