Delhi experiences coldest October night in 11 years at 13.7°C

The mercury dropped to 13.7 degrees Celsius early on Tuesday in the national capital. This is the coldest October night experienced by Delhi in 11 years, four notches below normal. The normal minimum temperature in the third week of October is between 18.1 and 19.4 degrees Celsius. The IMD said the minimum temperature is likely to rise over the next two days. The last time Delhi had recorded a lower minimum temperature in October was in 2009.
