Filipino villagers help someone move home by picking the whole house up
Helping someone move home can sometimes involve some heavy lifting, but in one village in the Philippines it took a lot more effort. Footage showed the incredible moment villagers lifted a neighbour's house to carry it to another location. The rare scene showing the Filipino custom of 'Bayanihan' - physically lifting a home from one place to another - was taken at a remote town in Agusan del Norte.. Local Jeven Trinquite Perame said his neighbour sought help from the community to move his house as the local landowner was reclaiming the area. He said: "We are a tight-knit community and help each other out without expecting anything in return."
