Maoists have come up with a new strategy to protest. Maoists have set ablaze 27 vehicles and two camp site offices of a road construction company on May 1. They have changed their pattern from their traditional practice of putting up a couple of random banners. Maoists changed the pattern as they have suffered setbacks but they cannot afford to lose their dreaded presence on the psyche of the local masses. Security forces are playing it safe. They are not removing the banners as a standard operation procedure (SOP) to avoid the threat of pressure bombs or any other explosives.
