How Kerala theatres opened after ten months

After a gap of nearly ten months, movie theatres opened in Kerala from January 13th. A delegation of the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce officials had met Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to impress upon the need to open theatres and give much needed relief to the industry. Here are the guidelines movie theatres and cinema-goers have to follow: Guidelines for the theatre industry in Kerala Movie theatres to run at 50% occupancy Show timings to be staggered Temperature check for all movie goers Movie goers to wear masks at all times and follow social distancing Theatres to be sanitised after each show as per the guidelines issued by the government Theatre staff to be given full protective gear Phone numbers of movie goers to be registered if contact tracing is required later.
