'I can imagine they have so much to lose': Naseeruddin Shah on why Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan don't speak publically on social issues

Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah is one film personality who doesn't shy away from calling a spade a spade. He is known to unabashedly express his opinions on varied issues under the sun, which, has more often than not, dragged him right in the middle of controversies. Only recently, Shah had courted controversy after he criticised a section of Indian Muslims for celebrating Taliban's rise to power in Afghanistan, calling it hazardous. At the same time, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan had refrained from commenting on the issue. The 71-year-old actor has now spoken about the three Khans of Bollywood - SRK, Salman and Aamir and how they stand to lose a 'lot' by speaking on socio-political issues. Speaking to a digital news publication, the actor had said and I quote: 'Obviously they’re worried because of the extent of harassment they will be subjected to. I cannot speak for them but I can imagine they have so much to lose. They would be subjected to all kinds, all manner of harassment, not just financial. Their entire establishments will get harassed.' Earlier, in a viral Twitter video, the actor had said every Indian Muslim must introspect if they want ‘reform’ in the religion or live with archaic ‘barbarian’ values.
