Israeli filmmaker and IFFI jury head Nadav Lapid, who called Vivek Ranjan Agnohotri's 'The Kashmir Files' 'vulgar propaganda', has reportedly apologised. While talking to a news channel, Nadav said that he didn’t want to insult anyone, and his aim was never to insult people or their relatives, who have suffered. He also said that he deeply regrets how they interpreted his words. Nadav mentioned that he spoke on behalf of the entire jury and that his comments weren’t just his but also represented the thoughts of his fellow jurists.
