
Madhur Bhandarkar walks to Siddhivinayak Temple from home, netizens laud his spiritual side
Madhur Bhandarkar, who is known for directing super hit films like 'Page 3', 'Fashion', 'Heroine', ‘Chandni Bar' and several others is among one of the few filmmakers whose work has been thoroughly enjoyed by critics as well as audiences. He is an avid social media user and often shares details about his personal and professional whereabouts with fans on social media. Recently, the filmmaker is hitting the headlines for altogether a different reason. Madhur, who is known to be a very spiritual person shared a video on Instagram and mentioned that he visited the temple on foot, in the wee hours of Tuesday. In the video, which is now going viral on the internet, he can be seen walking towards the temple in the dark, with several cyclists passing by him. The popular Bollywood filmmaker was spotted on his way to the temple in a grey t-shirt and black track pants. He wore sports shoes with his outfit and also wore a mask. Madhur Bhandarkar's followers on Instagram reacted to the filmmaker's initiative of walking towards the temple. Some left comments like 'God Bless' and some also wished him 'Good luck'. Madhur Bhandarkar is known for his realistic films with women protagonists. He has won several accolades for his films and was also honored with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour by the Government of India. Madhur Bhandarkar last directed the film 'Indu Sarkar' starring actors Kriti Kulhari, Tota Roy Chowdhury, and Neil Nitin Mukesh in the lead roles. The film was set during the emergency period in India, the year 1975 to 1977.
