Mozambique cyclone: Indian navy provides disaster relief

Massive human disaster relief effort are underway at Port Beira, Mozambique by the Indian Navy posts where cyclone Idai has taken place. Three Indian Navy ships with relief material have reached Port Beira to provide humanitarian assistance to the disaster-affected areas. The three Indian Navy ships Sujata, Sarathi and Shardul will provide food, water, medicines, blankets and other necessary relief items. Cyclone Idai that made landfall at Beira, Mozambique, in the early hours of March 15 caused widespread destruction in the country.
