Oscars 2023: RRR song 'Naatu Naatu' bags nomination in the Best Song category

SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ has bagged a nomination in the Best Original Song category at the 95th Academy Awards. The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ that brought home the Golden Globe honour is nominated in the same category, at the Oscars 2023 as well. Other nominees for the Original Song are from the films ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ and ‘Tell it like a woman’. ‘RRR’ was a massive hit that earned around Rs 1200 crores at the worldwide box-office and was lauded for its larger than life cinematic experience. The film that starred Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn was also praised by ‘Avatar’ director James Cameron recently. Can ‘RRR’ create history at the Oscars?
