Sikh flag at Red Fort: Know all about the 'Nishan Sahib'

Among the unruly scenes that marked the chaos during the tractor rally taken out by protesting farmer groups on January 26 include the incident when a crowd of protesters mounted a Sikh religious flag on a pole at Red Fort. However, many on social media wrongly claimed that the flag hoisted by protesters was a Khalistani flag. Pakistani propaganda handles too made the same claim to further their agenda. However, the flag hoisted at Red Fort was a Sikh flag which is found in every gurdwara and people carry it almost invariably during religious processions.
