#Showbiz: Maya Karin has 'jungle fever'

KUALA LUMPUR: Nature-loving artiste Maya Karin goes deep into Sabah jungle for a conservation project.

The award-winning actress joined a group of environmentalists for the trip to the Maliau Basin Conservation Area and recently shared several photos of the journey on her Instagram.

“Mission in Maliau basin is to check, replace, install new camera traps as well as collect data. Team of 10 out today, led by Dr. Rahimatsah,” she captioned on one of the photos.

In another photo, the caption of the photo reads: “Looking at fresh data from spy cameras. Dr. Rahimatsah, pengasas/founder of Sabah Environment Trust. Friend and mentor for 15 years now. Crazy the amount of knowledge he has shared with me the last 3 days.”

Her fans and followers praised her efforts and hoped that she would be extra careful in the when in the wilderness.
