The LUMIX People's Choice Award, developed and organized by the London-based Natural History Museum, aims to “inspire curiosity and wonder” and showcases wildlife photography as an art form, whilst “challenging us to consider our place in the natural world, and our responsibility to protect it.” This year’s edition received 45,000 entries from professionals and amateurs across 95 countries.

Take a look at the winner, highly commended entries and more stunning shortlisted photographs.
