Umno supreme council members defend party decision to sack Noh Omar
Following the announcement by Umno on the sacking of Tan Sri Noh Omar and Khairy Jamaluddin for breaches of party discipline, two party supreme council members said the decision was made properly as they had indeed erred in the 15th General Election in November last year. Umno also suspended Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, Datuk Maulizan Bujang, Datuk Seri Mohd Salim Sharif and Sharil Hamdan for six years.
